HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS
Once you’ve viewed your matched dentist’s profile, you have 72 hours to decide. If you don’t respond within 72 hours, the match expires and you’ll need to submit a new request.

You’re comfortable with this dentist and ready to schedule an appointment.
Request New Match:
This one isn’t the right fit – we’ll try one more match.
YOU STAY ANONYMOUS UNTIL YOU ACCEPT
Your matched dentist can see your dental needs and budget, but your name and contact details are hidden. Please do not call the dental office yet. Because your profile is anonymous, the office staff has no record of you and cannot answer questions or book your appointment over the phone.
Once you Accept the Match, your details will be securely shared.
ONCE YOU ACCEPT
The dentist will receive your contact information and now knows who you are. They’ll reach out to schedule your visit. Prefer to call instead? You can say:
“Hi, I was matched with your office through MatchMyDentist and I’d like to schedule my appointment.”
What to Expect At Your First Visit
- They already know everything : your budget, your concerns, your schedule, what you’re hoping to accomplish.
- You skip straight to solutions: the exam confirms what you need, then you work together on the best path forward within your budget.
- You leave with a clear plan: what needs to happen, what it costs, and when you can start.
