Why We Built This
While digital innovation has transformed nearly every industry, we still pick dentists like it’s 1999; zip codes, insurance filters, and star ratings that say little about real compatibility.
As both a practicing dentist and a tech geek, I saw the deeper problem: the system ignores what truly matters: the unique needs of each patient and the individual strengths of each dentist.
Great dentists who would be perfect matches often go unnoticed. They’re buried on page 12 of Google. Their websites aren’t flashy enough. Or they’re simply #200 on an insurance list. The best matches remain invisible while patients settle for whoever’s closest or has the most reviews.
And patients? They’re left wondering:
Who will take their fears seriously. Who will explain, not rush. Who will understand their dental past before recommending their future. You can’t find those answers on a website, review or list.
That’s why I built MatchMyDentist.
I want to bring personalization and trust back into how patients and dentists find each other. By letting patients share their preferences upfront and allowing dentists to choose who they’re best equipped to help, we create something that’s been missing for far too long:
