MatchMyDentist is NOT a directory and NOT insurance. We are a free clinical matching utility designed to ensure you and your dentist are the right fit before the first appointment.
You answer a short questionnaire about your budget, fears, timeline, and needs.
We show it (anonymously) to a dentist aligned with your needs and concerns.
One reads it, says “I can do this,” and reaches out.
You review their message and profile.
Like it? Accept.
Don’t? Pass—we’ll find another.No searching. No cold calls. No surprise bills.
Why only one dentist?
Because one right dentist beats ten random ones.
We don’t dump a list on you. We show your story to dentists who can actually help. One reads it, sees your budget and fears, and says “I want this patient.”
You get their message. You check their profile. If it feels good, you accept. If not, you pass—we send another.
Most people stop at the first. No endless calls. No guessing games. Just one thoughtful fit.

Is MatchMyDentist insurance?
MatchMyDentist is not dental insurance, a discount plan, or anything like that.
We’re just the smart matchmaker: we connect you to a licensed dentist who fits your needs and budget.
You use your existing PPO insurance (or pay privately) exactly as you normally would.
We don’t change your coverage or benefits—we just make sure the dentist knows your situation before you arrive.

Will the dentist know who I am?
No.
You stay totally anonymous until you say “yes.”
They see your fears, your budget, your timeline — but never your name or phone.
Only after you accept do we release that info.
How is my data protected?
Encrypted end-to-end. Only ever shown anonymously until you approve.
No one keeps a copy. No emails, no cloud leaks.
What if I don’t like my match?
Pass. We’ll send one more match.
If that’s not it, we’ll keep looking. That’s it—no blame, no lecture.
⏱️ Matching Process
How long does it take?
Most patients hear back in 24 hours.
It’s not magic — the dentist needs to read your full story. Give it that day.
If it’s urgent pain, skip us — go to urgent care.
Are there dentists near me?
Our network is growing every week.
We don’t publish an exact count or map yet — because we only match where a real fit exists.
Enter your zip code in the profile (takes 30 seconds). If we have someone who can help, you’ll hear back fast. If not, we’ll tell you straight and notify you when we do.
No guessing. No fake promises.
What if I don’t get matched?
We’ll let you know right away.
Then you can tweak your answers or wait – we’ll email when a match opens up.
That’s all. No guilt trip, no big explanations.
🦷 Dentist Quality
How do you vet dentists?
Every dentist in our network:
• Holds an active, unrestricted license — we verify it directly with the state board. • Has at least five years in practice. • Carries current malpractice insurance. • Passes a background review for any serious complaints or disciplinary actions.
We re-check all of this every year.
Beyond the paperwork, we watch how they treat matches: If they repeatedly promise things they don’t deliver (like sedation they don’t offer), they’re removed.
The license gets them in the door. Their behavior keeps them there.
You’ll feel the difference the moment they message you.
What if something goes wrong with my dentist?
Our role is simply to introduce you to a dentist who fits your needs. After that, your care is between you and them. If anything comes up during treatment, reach out to your dentist directly—we’re always happy to help with future matches if needed.
