The ‘Hope Problem’ Your residents call a dentist and hope:
- They’re actively taking new patients.
- They can help with their concerns.
- Their approach fits their budget and priorities.
- They’ll feel comfortable talking to them.
That’s too much hoping.
What residents get
Residents find out how a dentist would approach their concerns — before they book.
Will I be rushed? Will I be judged? Can we talk about cost before I commit? Does this office take my situation seriously?
With MatchMyDentist, the sequence is reversed: the dentist reads the situation first and only reaches out if they believe they are a fit. The person keeps control—no obligation to respond, share identity, or book.
Your role is simple.
You already talk to residents and families. MatchMyDentist runs the matching. Your staff puts out what we ship.
You place it.
A poster on the activity board. A card in the welcome packet. A display at reception. That is the whole job for your team.
We operate.
We ship the poster, countertop display, and take-away cards. We write a newsletter blurb if you want one. We run the matching.
You stay out of the care.
You never handle a resident’s story, budget, or phone number. Families can help them start. You are not running a dental program.
No enrollment. No health data on your side. No contracts. The community and the resident never pay.
Original Medicare does not cover routine dental.
That gap is why so many residents pay out of pocket — and why the first quote scares them off. MatchMyDentist is not insurance, not a discount plan, and not a replacement for Medicare. We do not process claims or collect premiums. We do not affect your relationship with residents or families.
Residents with PPO coverage are matched with participating dentists who accept their existing plan. Residents without dental coverage share a budget and see private-pay options.
PPO plans only. HMO, Medicare, and Medicaid plans are not currently supported.
Residents without dental coverage can still use MatchMyDentist. The budget is shared first so the dentist starts with what is realistic.
Make this available to your residents.
You don’t need to commit to a partnership. Let’s start with a conversation.
